A step outside

After the talk I saw Courtney and we walked down to the town together (avoiding bears!) for a coffee, chat and Taurean chinwag.

Banff town was closer than I'd imagined, lots of wooden buildings, and spacious, relaxed, friendly and clean - as Canada is of course! Stocked up on some things for breakfast and missed suppers (like tonight), and waited half an hour in an amicable slowmoving queue for the till to get served! Time to think...!
